As members of an academic community, we have both the privilege and responsibility to broaden our perspectives by experiencing cultural, social, and intellectual environments other than our own. No single activity facilitates this process more ably than extended international study. Understanding international perspectives and encountering cultural differences is a critical element of an undergraduate education that prepares students for an increasingly interrelated world.
Study Abroad is most often undertaken in a student’s junior year, though by no means always; there are many options. Start early in your academic career to investigate the best semester-long or year-long program for your needs.
To begin, consider BU “Directed Institutions,” or programs with which Bradley has already established a formal affiliation. Why begin with these? Because Bradley students attending these programs are generally able to use part or all of their BU financial assistance package. Go>
