Day 5
London: Students in London started off today with tests and lectures and note taking, and then took to the rails to explore London and the surrounding areas. Theatre students visited Greenwich Village, where they were able to stand in two time zones at the same time. Marketing students visited the Hampton Court palace.
Students are learning that London is a big city, and it's possible to walk for hours and never quite find what you're looking for. Often times it seems that you are within sight of your goal, and yet it is never there. (The last picture for today is students expressing their exhaustion after searching for Chinatown for two hours)
Tomorrow has more fun in store, as the Astronomy class heads to Stonehenge for the day. Stay tuned for more updates! Tomorrow will be pictures just from Paris, and the 9th will be more news and photos from London!
