Day 9
London: Today was another blustery, slightly rainy London day. Students are getting ready for their weekend trips. Some are spending a few days in Dublin, others are taking a day trip to Paris via the Eurostar train. The pictures today are of the Graphic Design class's trip to INTRO Design, and also showcase the giant (15-20 feet) wicker statues of Gog and Magog that adorn the main lobby of the hotel. There are also photographs of the Astronomy class during their classroom.
Paris: There was a bit of excitement in the air today as students prepared to leave for a weekend of independent travel. Bradley students will be hitting the roads, trains and airports of Europe for travel to destinations such as Venice, London and Amsterdam. Today’s classwork consisted of a shorter day, with most classes traveling to local museums or finishing up some work here at the hotel before departing. The chilly weather here in Paris made us appreciate the comfort of warm clothing! More to come from Paris on Sunday as we return from a weekend abroad, hopefully with some interesting stories to report!
