Day 13
London: Today was packed for many students. Several English sections journeyed out of London to site-see at Windsor Castle, Bath, and even Stone Henge. Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time. I'm going to miss a lot of things about England but rain isn't one of them! Dr. Maloney's class used the rail system today to travel to Windsor castle - about an hour's ride - and had lunch at a local pub before heading back.
Later in the evening, Marketing students attended a Circe de Soleil performance. The Graphic Designers are working 'round the clock to finish their advertising project by tomorrow's deadline when they will present to a local ad agency (eek!). Everyone is trying to cram in as much as possible before we head back to the states - see you in a few days! --Katie
Paris: For Bradley students here in Paris, today marked the return to class and schoolwork following a long weekend of independent travel. The French Revolution class headed to the Louvre to take in the massive art collections while the Art classes prepared for an exam at the hotel. Dr. Hertich and the French students examined local culture up close by visiting and dining in a variety of French cafés. Many students took advantage of the beautiful weather here in Paris by venturing outside and exploring new parts of the city. Everyone is making the most of these last few days, as all too soon we will be back on a plane to Chicago!
