Day 15
London: Today's pictures show some of the places the English classes visited, and also highlight the finale of the graphic design class. We have spent the last few days frantically working with our groups to create logos and advertisements for a not-yet-on-the-market furniture product. The project was given to our professor by a London-based design firm, and yesterday afternoon (after a few long nights and several trips to the local "Pronta Print") we revealed our final designs to a board of several designers at Enterprise IG. The last few photos show the group from the morning through the presentations and in the pub afterward celebrating a job well done with some Fish & Chips.
Tomorrow is for packing, and wrapping up last bits of class and buying souveniers. This has been a really fun trip, but the consensus among the students is that two weeks in the same, tiny hotel room is quite enough. We are all looking forward to sleeping in our own beds and having access to luxuries like a microwave and a stove!
Thanks for keeping up with our travels over the last few weeks, it was good to know that someone on the "other side of the pond" was keeping an eye on us!
