Day 1
Off to Europe! After a long flight and hopefully no lost luggage the Bradley students arrive at their hotels. The key here was not to let us go to sleep otherwise jet lag would be horrible. The teachers soon whisked us off to learn about our surroundings. For the London classes there was a Tube Test (London’s subway) that taught us how to travel around the city with ease. Other than that the day was about exploring what was around us. The day ended on a high note when the hotel had an impromptu fire drill (don’t worry it was a false alarm) and a girl dressed as Eeyore (assumingly for a party) played bagpipes for the hotel guests while we were waiting to go back inside. Overall it was a wonderful and interesting day! ~Emily
Vienna: After two plane rides, eight time zones, ten hours of flying, and way too much airline food, the Bradley University's Study Abroad program finally arrived in Vienna, Austria! Once off the plane, we loaded up a bus and made our way to our home away from home: the Hotel Geblergasse. The students congregate in the lobby before a traditional viennese meal at the University of Vienna. More wiener schnitzel please! ~Maddy
